The 29-year-old from Glasgow discovered he had Hodgkin’s lymphoma after a persistent lump under his jaw raised alarms. Despite the shock, Jamie is determined to keep living life to the fullest.

“It’s your health at the end of the day,” Jamie said, continuing his work as an online fitness coach and pushing forward with his active lifestyle. Even after receiving the green light from the doctor, Jamie is committed to maintaining his routine, which includes prepping for a big photoshoot.

In a twist of fate, just a week after Jamie’s diagnosis, another family member was diagnosed with cancer, drawing the family closer. Now, they’re rallying together for the Off The Beatson Track event in support of the Beatson Cancer Charity. Jamie and seven relatives are gearing up to conquer a 10k, spreading awareness and raising vital funds for cancer patients.

“The more people involved, the more powerful it is,” Jamie shared. His fundraising has already surpassed expectations, hitting four times his original target. “The support has been overwhelming,” he added, fuelled by the generosity of others to continue his journey.

Joining them on this shared mission, Maisie McCormick from Beatson Cancer Charity expressed gratitude for their 12th Off the Beatson Track event. “Every single person who signs up is helping us support more cancer patients and their families,” she explained.
