🚨 **Serious Crash Outside Carmarthen Sends Man to Hospital** 🚑
A man is recovering in hospital following a major crash on the B4309 near Carmarthen. The accident, involving two vehicles, occurred between the villages of Pontantwn and Meinciau. Emergency services, including a Wales Air Ambulance helicopter, were on the scene, but the injured man was ultimately transported to hospital by road ambulance.
This unfortunate incident marks the second major crash on the same road in just a few days. Earlier in the week, a separate crash involving three vehicles led to three individuals being hospitalised on the nearby stretch between Cwmffrwd and Pontantwn.
For those on the move, the B4309 was temporarily closed for about three hours while authorities cleared the scene, reopening shortly before 11 am.
