What started in a van at Radyr Cricket Club is now becoming a multisite sensation across Wales and the South West! If you’re in Cardiff, you may have already tried these beloved pies at the weekend pop-up or their Quay Street spot. But get ready, because they’re scaling up!

Meet Harri Rees and Gareth Owens, the passionate duo behind this pie haven named after Gareth’s late grandad, Donald. His love of pies and sports laid the foundation for a venture that combines scrumptious bites with heartfelt memories.

The big dream? A new production kitchen on Penarth Road. This means 10x more pies and fewer M4 journeys! Gareth says, “I’ve no doubt my grandad Donald would be laughing his head off if he could see what we’ve built.”

But that’s not all! Donald’s Pies is teaming up with Barry Town RFC for pitch-side delights and has launched a tasty Steak & Coal Drop Stout pie in collaboration with Tiny Rebel Brewery! Starting soon, you’ll also find Donald’s Pies at The Grange Pub, the National Museum of Wales, and St Fagan’s Museum of Welsh Life!
