**Shock and Outrage in Barry Island: Teen Assaulted in Broad Daylight**
Police have made an arrest after a shocking street attack on Barry Island left a 15-year-old boy needing hospital treatment. The brutal incident occurred near the Paget Road car park on 12th August around 7.30pm, when a group of youths allegedly assaulted the teen. The boy has since been treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital.
Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect, who has been released on bail as investigations continue. This incident has stirred significant concern as it took place in a crowded, popular area of Barry Island. Detective Inspector Phillip Marchant commented, “I am sure the local community will be pleased to know that we have made an arrest. Our investigation into the incident is continuing and anyone who may be able to assist is urged to get in touch.”
