💪 Jiffy’s a true legend, both on and off the rugby field. He’s been a game-changer in more ways than one. As a rugby hero, he could turn matches on their head in a heartbeat. But it’s his tireless charity work that’s truly jaw-dropping!
🚴♂️ Just last week, he completed his fifth Cancer 50 Challenge, cycling between Cardiff and Swansea. Thanks to his efforts, along with his exceptional team, an astounding £50 million has been raised for Velindre and Swansea Bay Health Charity. Impressive, right?
🩺 This dedication stems from personal loss – he lost his dad and wife, Karen, to cancer. Honestly, his drive to give back to the community is inspiring. As someone who lost a loved one to cancer, I truly get it.
😂 We’ve had some laughs over the years, like when Jiffy stormed out of a taxi, fed up with the driver who couldn’t find our hotel. Classic Jiffy! He’s not just an icon but a fantastic presence on the show ‘Jonathan’, which I’ve had the joy of filming with him and Sarra Elgan for over 20 years. It’s a laugh a minute and feels more like hanging out with friends than work.
