Cardiff was awash with colour as hundreds celebrated at the annual Trans Pride march! The sun shone brightly on a day filled with solidarity and support for the trans community. Starting at the vibrant Queer Emporium on St Mary Street, marchers made their way through the city, rallying at Nye Bevan statue on Queen Street before heading towards the serene Gorsedd Gardens.
The air buzzed with empowering “know your rights” speeches as participants waved placards proudly displaying messages of love and unity. Trans Pride Cardiff encouraged everyone to come together, saying: “Show up, take up space, and feel the power of solidarity and visibility. Now, more than ever, it’s crucial that we stand together.”
With a carnival-like atmosphere, the march was a visual feast. Bright flags and creative signs added to the spectacle, while some participants donned face paint and sunglasses, soaking up the joyful energy of the day.
