Heartbreak in Torremolinos 💔
The cherished McGuire’s Irish Cafe and Bar, a favourite among visitors in the sunny Costa del Sol, has been engulfed in a fire, leaving its owners and the local community devastated. Known for its unbeatable “craic and ceóil,” this beloved spot was the go-to for traditional Irish music, lively nights, and classic fish and chips.
In an emotional message, the owners, Paul and Gavin, shared their shock: “Waking up to the news that our bar, along with our neighbour’s, was lost in a fire is beyond belief and we are struggling to process this.”
Despite the overwhelming loss, they’re determined to pull through with the community’s support. “This is a devastating loss for us, and a deeply sad day for our community,” they wrote. “We are okay, and we will get through this together.”
