🎉⚽️ Swansea City fans, we did it! 🎉⚽️ Through grit and determination, the Swans have made it to the third round of the Carabao Cup after a tense and thrilling penalty shootout against Plymouth Argyle at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The night kicked off with Zan Vipotnik continuing his scoring streak, launching a 25-yard rocket that shook the net and ignited hope for a Swans victory. But Plymouth wasn’t backing down. Brendan Wiredu’s header brought the match level right before the break, setting up a nail-biting second half.
👐 Our keeper, Andy Fisher, was on fire, denying Bim Pepple’s shot and keeping our hopes alive. Despite a flurry of chances and substitutions from both teams, the scoreboard remained locked at 1-1, pushing us into a penalty showdown.

The shootout saw former Swan, Matthew Sorinola, miss his spot-kick, giving Swansea the upper hand. Melker Widell then stepped up, sealing the deal for the Swans with a decisive penalty, ending the clash at 5-3.
Highlights include:
🔹 A heroic block by Eom Jisung setting up Vipotnik’s wonder goal.
🔹 Top-notch saves by Fisher that kept us in the game during critical moments.
🔹 Liam Cullen and Sam Parker kept the pressure on Plymouth until the very end.
🔹 Tactical changes from Sheehan who brought fresh energy with key subs.
It was a night of high drama, fantastic teamwork, and unbreakable spirit. With Swansea now in the hat for round three, let’s keep cheering and supporting our team on this Carabao Cup journey! 🎶👏
