🔥 Community Comeback! Manorbier School’s Fight to Rise from the Ashes 🔥

When Manorbier Church in Wales VC School was devastated by a massive fire, the heart of the local community took a hit. But now, hundreds are rallying to prevent this cherished institution from fading into history!
In the aftermath of the October 2022 blaze, the school relocated to Jameston Village Hall. But now, Pembrokeshire Council is considering closing it for good. A recent council meeting initiated a public consultation on this closure, but the local community isn’t backing down.

A passionate petition has already gathered nearly 400 signatures, urging the council to rethink their plans. Supporters stress that closing the school, which has been a community pillar since 1873, would deeply harm local children, their families, and the broader community.
The St Davids Diocesan Board of Finance stands firm, insisting the school must be rebuilt, having believed this was the council’s plan all along. “It’s not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about our kids’ futures, our heritage, and the life of our village!” say campaigners.
Locals are calling on the council to honour promises made, to engage and listen to their voices, ensuring Manorbier School can open its doors once more. The petition remains open until 26 November, giving everyone a chance to make their voice heard.

Join the fight to save a vital piece of our community and let’s ensure that the legacy of Manorbier School continues in full force. 🏫💪
