🚨 Trowbridge Gears Up for Another By-Election 🚨

Big news, Trowbridge residents! A fresh by-election is on the horizon as former councillor Chris Lay steps down, marking the third such election in Cardiff this year! After Lay’s move to England following a job promotion, it’s time for locals to hit the polls once more.
Here’s the line-up for the upcoming battle on 18th September:
🗳️ Gary Bowen-Thomson (Welsh Labour)

🗳️ Chris Cogger (Welsh Liberal Democrats)
🗳️ Carol Ann Falcon (Plaid Cymru)
🗳️ Leanne Lennox (Propel)
🗳️ Joe Roberts (Welsh Conservatives)
🗳️ Jess Ryan (Wales Green Party)
🗳️ Edward Topham (Reform UK)

The council landscape in Cardiff has been anything but dull this year, with July’s Llanrumney by-election maintaining Labour’s hold but August’s Grangetown election shaking things up with a Green Party win! Will Trowbridge see more surprises?
Just a reminder for eligible voters: If you’re going to be out of town, ensure your postal vote is sorted by 5pm on 3rd September and don’t forget the proxy vote deadline is 10th September. Need to register? Do it by 2nd September at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
Stay tuned and make your voice count! 🗳️✊
