They charged into the corridor to confront their rivals, leading to a frenzied fight. Among those involved were Serhan Doganer and Jaidon Kaul, who now found themselves facing justice for their role in the chaos.
Just as order seemed within reach, another group from the art room upped the ante by overpowering their teacher and reigniting the melee. It was a team effort from the prison staff that ultimately managed to separate the brawlers and calm the storm.
As the dust settled, the aftermath was all too real with a puncture wound near one inmate’s eye and emotionally shaken teachers. In court, Doganer, with a history of violence, received a 20-month prison sentence for his actions, adding to his time in custody. On the other hand, Kaul, who had turned a new leaf since the incident, was handed a suspended 22-month sentence, with a chance to continue rebuilding his life through rehabilitation and community service.
