Cardiff schools have just revealed their latest GCSE achievements β and the stats are impressive! Cardiff once again outperformed the Welsh average, with some standout performances. π«π

Leading the pack, the Church in Wales Bishop of Llandaff High School clinched the top spot, boasting exceptional A*-A grades. Mary Immaculate High School is also celebrating a fantastic 4% increase in A*-A grades from last year. ππ

This is the first year exams have returned to pre-Covid conditions, making these results particularly noteworthy. However, comparisons are trickier given the gap since traditional exams. But let’s celebrate the hard work all our students have put in!

1οΈβ£ Bishop of Llandaff High: A*-A 50.1%, A*-G 100%
2οΈβ£ Cardiff High: A*-A 49.1%, A*-G 99.3%
3οΈβ£ Corpus Christi High: A*-A 41.4%, A*-G 98.7%
While some schools focused on achieving top grades, others are celebrating high overall pass rates. Schools such as Ysgol Glantaf and Radyr Comprehensive showed impressive A*-G results, highlighting the diversity in focus and accomplishment across the city. ππ
