If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s something exciting going on in Newport’s Ringland. Once a rundown estate, the area is currently undergoing a massive £34 million transformation and you won’t believe the incredible progress so far!
The Ringland regeneration project is set to breathe new life into one of Newport’s most deprived areas. This ambitious plan involves demolishing the existing structure and includes building over 160 modern homes, a new shopping area, and a fantastic health and wellbeing centre.
🔹 What’s Already Happened:
– 55 brand new homes at Cot Farm were finished back in 2021, kicking off the first phase of this exciting journey.
– Say hello to the 19 Hills Health and Wellbeing Centre! Opened in April 2025, it’s already offering services like GP access, mental health support, minor operations, and even community dental services.
