⚽️ Harry Redknapp Steps Up for Sepsis Awareness! 🎗

Football legend and former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is on a mission to tackle sepsis awareness in the UK after experiencing a close call with his wife Sandra’s health. In 2018, Sandra’s kidney infection led to sepsis, and Harry knows firsthand how terrifying it can be. Thankfully, Sandra survived, but many others aren’t as lucky.
Teaming up with the UK Sepsis Trust, Harry is spearheading the “It’s Game On For Sepsis” campaign, and he’s calling on all of us to join the fight. As part of the campaign, you can play the Sepsis Savvy Shootout game online. Not only is it a fun way to learn about sepsis, but playing also enters you into a draw to meet the man himself!

Why is this important? Sepsis can be tough to spot. The condition occurs when the body’s reaction to an infection starts damaging its own tissues and organs. Symptoms can mimic those of flu or chest infections, making quick diagnosis tricky. With around 48,000 lives lost to sepsis every year in the UK, it’s crucial to stay informed and aware.

Dr Ron Daniels from the UK Sepsis Trust echoes the importance of this campaign, highlighting the power of community support in spreading awareness. Let’s follow Harry’s lead and ensure we’re all sepsis savvy.
The game is available on the UK Sepsis Trust website and serves as an informative tool even after the prize draw deadline on September 30th. Join Harry in this important cause and let’s make every community aware of sepsis signs and symptoms!
Remember, if you suspect sepsis, act immediately. Call 999 or head to A&E—quick action can save lives. 🌟
Spread the word, play the game, and be part of the change. #SepsisSavvy #GameOnForSepsis #HarryRedknapp #UKSepsisTrust
