🚨 Tragic News from Llandudno 🚨

An 89-year-old woman has tragically died after being struck by a council bin lorry in Llandudno. The alarming incident took place on Brookes Street around 9am on Monday morning.

The driver of the lorry has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is currently in police custody. The North Wales Police and emergency services, including the Air Ambulance and the Welsh Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene in the quiet residential area, but despite their best efforts, the woman sadly passed away.

Sergeant Duncan Logan from the serious collision investigation unit is urging anyone who was in the area at that time or who might have any information to come forward. “Our thoughts and sympathies are with her family at this incredibly difficult time,” he said.
