We’re heartbroken to share the story of Logan Carter, a spirited 12-year-old who tragically lost his life in a playground accident in Winsford, Cheshire. On Friday evening, Logan was playing on a roundabout at Wharton Recreation Ground when an e-bike reportedly struck the equipment.

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested, suspected of causing death by dangerous driving, and has been released under investigation as police delve into the accident’s details. Officers are examining reports suggesting an e-bike might have been involved in spinning the roundabout.
Logan was sadly declared dead at the scene despite paramedics’ best efforts. The incident has shaken the community, and a police cordon surrounds the area for ongoing investigations.
In a heartfelt tribute, Logan’s parents, Rob and Carys, described him as a “much-loved Son, Brother, Grandson, Great Grandson, Cousin, and friend to many.” Logan, known for having an “infectious personality” and a “beautiful smile,” was cherished by all who knew him.
