The Dublin-based airline welcomed 21 million travellers on board last month, a jump from 20.5 million in August last year. Keeping its planes packed with a steady load factor of 96%, Ryanair is definitely flying strong! Over the last 12 months, they’ve seen a 6% rise in passengers, reaching a whopping 203.6 million.

Meanwhile, Wizz Air also enjoyed a boost, carrying 6.9 million passengers in August—an impressive 11% increase compared to the same period in 2024, with their load factor at a solid 95%.
