The new Whitchurch branch, located on Merthyr Road, has officially been given the green light by Cardiff Council!

Tom Simmons, the brains behind Ground, first grabbed attention when he opened Thomas by Tom Simmons in Pontcanna in 2020, earning accolades such as the AA Welsh Restaurant of the Year 2024/25. His culinary journey began as the youngest ever participant to reach the MasterChef: The Professionals quarter-finals in 2011. Now, with backing from Welsh rugby icon George North, Tom and his partner Lois continue to bless Cardiff with scrumptious delights.
