Tragedy struck this weekend as Jon Nunez, a beloved motorcyclist, lost his life in a collision. Known for his infectious laughter and unwavering kindness, Jon wasn’t just a friend; he was a beacon of joy for everyone around him. A true gentle soul, he had that rare ability to make everyone’s lives a little brighter, always ready with a helping hand or a good joke.
Jon, aged 50, from Rhos-on-Sea, tragically passed away when his white Suzuki motorcycle collided with a black Range Rover at the Black Cat roundabout near Llandudno Junction. The accident occurred shortly after 11.30am on Saturday, September 6th. He was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind a legacy of joy and cherished moments.
His family shared heartfelt tributes, saying, “Jon was more than just part of our family. He brightened our lives with his unmistakable laugh and immeasurable kindness. We will forever remember and treasure the countless happy moments he gave us.”
North Wales Police is keen to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage from the area at that time. Witnesses are urged to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident reference C139505.
