Two men are seriously injured following a motorcycle crash on Nant-Y-Gwyddon Road, Pentre, this Monday. Emergency services rushed to the scene at 1:50 pm, where a collision involving two motorcycles led to the road being closed for around nine hours. 🚑🚁
For those navigating the Rhondda area, the crash caused significant delays, with traffic backed up all the way from Porth through Tonypandy to Gelli. Police advised everyone to steer clear and find alternative routes as the road was at a standstill between Porth and Gelli. 📍
The road finally reopened around 10:30 pm, but the impact on travel was felt throughout the afternoon. Two air ambulances were spotted landing near the site to assist with the situation. 🙏
