🎉 Biscuit week in the Great British Bake Off tent has claimed its second baker! Leighton, our software delivery manager from Swansea, had to say goodbye after a rollercoaster of emotions and bakes.
This week’s challenges were all about biscuits – from slice-and-bake creations to chocolate hobnobs, and a show-stopping masterpiece. While creative entrepreneur Tom scooped the Star Baker title, Leighton’s biscuit journey came to an end.
Leighton shared, “I’ve loved every moment in the Bake Off tent, despite feeling gutted when Noel announced I was leaving. Making it this far was a dream, and the support from fellow bakers has been incredible. Bake Off is about more than just bakes – it’s the camaraderie and friendships too!”
He reminisced about his proud moment, “Paul enjoyed my orange slice-and-bake biscuit! That’s something I’ll always cherish, even if my chocolate hobnobs were a bit of a disaster.”
