As they got closer, it turned out to be Prince William himself, braving the rain with a red folder in hand.
So, what was he up to in Cardiff? The Prince of Wales was there visiting the Jac Lewis Foundation. Inspired by a young footballer’s tragic story, the foundation is tackling suicide prevention, offering life-saving counselling and support. The initiative, backed by The Royal Foundation and Welsh Rugby Union, launched in line with World Suicide Prevention Day.
Social media was buzzing with reactions! One user shared: “Did he really take the train and not a private jet?” Others marvelled at the easygoing royal: “Is he as good looking in real life?”
Jesse Lewis, Jac’s father, shared the journey of the foundation. Starting as a simple idea, thanks to community support, it’s become a sanctuary for mental health support in South Wales. The goal? Make reaching out for help a little easier, especially for young men.
