🌧️ Wales on Flood Alert! 🚨

Heads up, folks! After a soggy week filled with thunder and lightning, flood alerts have been issued along the Welsh coast. 🌊 The places to watch include Swansea Bay and the Gower, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion between Clarach and Cardigan, Llyn Peninsula and Cardigan coastline, Carmarthenshire and North Gower. These alerts, prompted by high tides and stormy weather, mean flooding in low-lying areas and roads is on the cards. If you’re near Swansea Bay or Gower, stay alert on beaches and coastal paths, and around estuaries. The warning for Carmarthenshire even indicates possible property flooding.

This wet spell comes after the driest spring on record, and weather woes aren’t ending just yet. The forecast for Friday suggests patchy cloud, scattered showers, and even possible thunder. With temperatures reaching 17°C, it’ll also feel cooler and breezy, especially in coastal and higher areas.
The weekend promises more rain and some gale-force winds, so keep your brollies handy! Stay safe and keep checking for updates on the weather. 🌧️🌬️#WalesWeather #FloodAlert #StaySafeWales
