🚨 **No-Fly Zone Alert!** 🚁

Heads up, folks! This Saturday, a no-fly zone will be active over Newtown from 9am to 6pm. Dyfed-Powys Police are setting this up to ensure peaceful protests can happen in the town centre. This means no drones allowed to fly below 2,000 feet—so drone enthusiasts, take note!

The restriction coincides with a big day of rallies. While Tommy Robinson’s “Unite the Kingdom” march takes place in London, Newtown will host its own counter-demonstration. The local protest kicks off at 11:45am at Market Hall, High Street, organised by Undod/Solidarity Mid-Wales. Expect to hear from speakers like Steve Witherden, Liz Saville Roberts, and several Senedd candidates.
Drone pilots keen to capture the day’s events? You’ll need explicit permission from Dyfed-Powys Police to fly legally. Reach out to them via email to sort out your permissions!
