🌧️ Heads up, folks! Wales is experiencing some serious weather with a yellow alert for wind in full swing. 🚨 Several flood alerts have been issued, so it’s all hands on deck. Stay safe and prepared if you’re in these areas:

1️⃣ Conwy catchment
2️⃣ Dyfi catchment

3️⃣ River Ewenny and Vale of Glamorgan west
4️⃣ Rivers Nant-y-Fendrod and Nant Bran

From Sunday evening, there have been reports of flash floods, including cars submerged near Cwmbwrla roundabout in Swansea. 🌊 The A483 Carmarthen Road in Swansea has been closed due to flooding since early morning, and the M8 Severn Bridge faced closures too, causing some travel chaos.
🌬️ Monday’s forecast is looking blustery with gales, particularly strong in coastal and upland regions throughout the morning. Showers will be scattered, especially heavy in the north, so keep those umbrellas handy! Temperatures won’t climb higher than a chilly 16°C.
Remember, a flood alert indicates that flooding is possible, so it’s time to be on the lookout. While no official flood warnings (where immediate action is necessary) have been issued, it’s always wise to stay informed and ready. Stay safe, Wales! #WalesWeather #FloodAlert #StaySafe
