Lexi, a 13-year-old from Deeside, North Wales, has been through the wringer with two open-heart surgeries, a pacemaker, and ongoing intensive chemotherapy. Despite the challenges she faces, Lexi dreams of experiencing the magic of New York at Christmas, just like Kevin from her favourite film, “Home Alone.” Her family is determined to make this happen for her.
Led by the local Wrexham Police football team, a fundraising drive aims to collect £20,000 to bring Lexi’s dream to life. They’ve already raised £12,500, with plans to gather more through a charity football match. But Ryan’s generous contribution has brought Lexi closer to her goal, leaving the community amazed and grateful.
The local police team praised Reynolds, saying, “Not all heroes wear capes. This one wears a red and black suit. Thank you, Ryan!”
Lexi’s mother, expressing her hopes before Ryan’s donation, shared, “We just want to give Lexi something magical to look forward to, something that feels like hope.”
