Expect a little chaos in the town centre over the next few weeks! Essential gas pipeline upgrades are underway, promising to shake up your usual driving routes until mid-November.
The bustling junction of Water Street and St Catherine Street is in the spotlight, where disruption is inevitable. Key dates to jot down:
👉 Water Street (north of the traffic lights) will be closed from 6th October for 19 days.
👉 No left turn onto Parcmaen Street until the 26th of September, but residents can approach from the east.
Fear not, as good ol’ Wales & West Utilities, along with the council, is on the case, ensuring traffic management aims to minimise the hassle. The project managers understand that this isn’t the perfect scenario, but these upgrades are crucial for keeping your gas supply safe and reliable for years to come. 🚙💨
