🚨 Dramatic Cliff Rescue Near Swansea! 🚨
On Sunday, thrill turned to danger as a rock climber took a terrifying 30-foot plunge from the perilous cliffs at Heatherslade Bay. Thankfully, emergency services were quickly on the scene, launching a full-scale rescue mission.
With the sea crashing below and the wind howling, it was a race against time. A HM Coastguard rescue helicopter, RNLI lifeboats, and dedicated rescue teams worked together to reach the stranded climber. Battling the challenging conditions, the Coastguard helicopter successfully winched the injured climber from the cliff’s base, ensuring their safety.
Once hoisted to safety, the climber was immediately transferred to a Welsh Ambulance Service vehicle for further medical attention. We’re all hoping for the best and wishing them a swift recovery. 🤞
