ππ₯ Traffic Turmoil in North Cornelly! π₯π

Ever seen a lorry play hide and seek with a bridge? Well, on Monday, things went a bit awry on Porthcawl Road when a waste-management vehicle got itself comfortably wedged under a bridge! π¬
It all kicked off at 3:30 pm, causing quite the hullabaloo. The vehicle, a bit too tall for its own good, tried to squeeze through and ended up bringing traffic to a standstill. The bridge stood its ground while the poor lorry was left stuck.

As if that wasnβt enough for one day, Mother Nature decided to join the party! The nearby Kenfig Viaduct section of the M4 had to shut down due to crazy strong winds. As a result, the motorway turned into a parking lot for a good five hours. And to top it off, the Severn Bridge was also closed. Talk about a perfect storm! πͺοΈ
The heroes of the hour were the recovery teams who had to deflate the lorryβs tyres to wiggle it free. South Wales Police were on the scene helping sort the chaos and get the road back in action.
For those stuck in the midst of it, patience was truly a virtue. Kudos to the teams for sorting it all out! π
