🏉 Big news for rugby fans! Liam Williams, the talented Wales and Lions full-back, might soon be calling England his new home. After leaving Saracens, Williams has been training hard with Cardiff but has yet to find a club. However, the tide seems to be turning as Newcastle Red Bulls, now backed by Red Bull, are keen on snapping him up.
At 34, Williams still has plenty of fight and flair left in him. He’s itching to get back on the pitch and make it to 100 Wales caps, just 7 shy of the milestone. Newcastle’s new financial muscle could be the perfect match for Williams’ expertise and ambition.
The Red Bulls have struggled in the Premiership but with new ownership, they have the opportunity to transform their squad. A seasoned player like Williams could bring much-needed experience and spark to the team.
Williams shared his frustration about being club-less, saying, “I’ve never been without a job before, and it’s tough watching games kick off without me. I miss being part of a squad.”
Could this be the fresh start he needs? Only time will tell if a deal is sealed in the coming days. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on this potential game-changing move! 🏉✍️ #RugbyNews #LiamWilliams #NewcastleRedBulls #BritishAndIrishLions #WelshRugby
