Chaos erupted in Kenfig Hill, Bridgend, as a house party spiralled out of control, turning a peaceful street into a scene straight out of a drama! Neighbour Jayne Llewellyn, who’s lived there for almost nine years, couldn’t believe her eyes: over 100 teenagers swarmed Croft Goch Road, causing a ruckus with bottles being tossed and smashed. The unexpected mob had seemingly gathered for a birthday bash shared on social media.

“It was like a scene from a movie – utter chaos,” Jayne remarked as she watched from her doorway. Concerned for safety, she promptly alerted the police. Officers arrived swiftly around 9pm, ensuring the crowd was moved on without incident. They even escorted the teens to nearby Pyle Railway Station, making sure they safely headed to Bridgend and Maesteg.

Despite the wild scene, the police reported no crimes. “Groups were spread across both sides of the road, but thankfully, there was no fighting or violence,” noted a police spokesman. Residents later found themselves sweeping up the remnants, ensuring the streets returned to their usual, quiet self.
