They didn’t have a commercial waste contract, so those bags ended up costing them a whopping £8,000 after a court ruling. This came after initially ignoring a £300 penalty and failing to provide necessary waste documentation.
Cllr Norma Mackie stressed the importance of having proper waste management in place, reminding businesses that everyone must play their part in keeping Cardiff clean. No more dumping waste with domestic collections or at household recycling centres!
