Tereza Pultarova, a freelance journalist from London, shared her frustrating experience of being stuck in a queue for hours, with digital check-ins disabled. Her much-anticipated work trip was jeopardised, echoing the sentiments of many travellers currently affected.
Brussels Airport confirmed the cyber attack and advised passengers only to head to the airport if their flight is confirmed, thanks to manual check-in processes now being in place. Meanwhile, Berlin Airport is working hard to resolve issues from the technical glitch, urging patience from passengers facing extended wait times.
Collins Aerospace is actively attempting to fix the issue and restore system functionality. They’ve stated, “The impact is limited to electronic check-ins and baggage drop, but we’re working to resolve this swiftly.”
