🏃♀️✨ Keely Hodgkinson is back and better than ever! As she prepares for the 800m final at the World Championships in Tokyo, this 23-year-old British star is aiming for nothing less than gold. After claiming victory at the Paris Games last year, she’s more determined than ever to add another medal to her collection.

But it hasn’t been an easy road. Keely battled a significant health scare in her teens when she underwent ear surgery to remove a tumour that temporarily affected her ability to walk. Fortunately, the surgery was a success, and Keely has risen above the challenge, focusing on her athletic dreams.

Last month, she stunned everyone with a blistering 1:54.74 in her first competition in over a year, getting tantalisingly close to breaking her own national record. Now, she has her sights set on a 42-year-old world record!

Off the track, Keely is staying focused on her career, choosing to stay clear of dating apps. “I’m not really interested in dating right now,” she says. Meeting people in real life is her preference!
Keely’s journey is a testament to overcoming obstacles. Whether it’s recovering from health setbacks or navigating personal challenges, she embodies resilience. Not to mention, she’s got a friendship with footballer Ella Toone, proving that success runs in her circle!
Catch Keely in action as she goes all out for that gold. We’re rooting for you, Keely! 🌟🏅
