The River Severn is particularly affected, with warnings in Cilcewydd, Trehelig, Berriew, Abermule and Fron, and Aberbechan. If you’re in these areas, please stay safe and take immediate action as necessary!

Flood alerts are also in force across parts of north and west Wales. If you live in areas such as South Pembrokeshire, Aberystwyth, or Anglesey, keep an eye on local updates and be prepared.

Several major roads, including the A44 in Ceredigion, A458 in Powys, and A483 in Swansea, have been closed due to flooding. Motorists should check routes before travelling.

However, there’s a break in the weather coming! Sunday’s forecast promises clearer skies with sunnier spells on the horizon, though a brisk northerly wind might make it feel a bit chilly. 🌤️

Looking ahead, the upcoming week should bring more settled and dry conditions, although it will be cooler with the possibility of frost in rural areas overnight.

Stay tuned and stay safe out there! 💧
