Lewis Hamilton’s fans are rallying around him after he shared a heartfelt update about his beloved bulldog, Roscoe. The Formula 1 legend revealed a “scary few hours” they recently endured, asking for “thoughts and prayers” for his four-legged companion. Over on Instagram, Hamilton showcased an image of Roscoe wrapped in blankets at a veterinary surgery, highlighting just how tough the day had been.

Roscoe, who’s around 13 years old, has been Hamilton’s loyal friend since 2013. Despite his jet-setting lifestyle, with 24 races a year, Hamilton ensures Roscoe is always well cared for, often looking to trainer Kirstin McMillan for support. Earlier this year, Roscoe battled pneumonia, but he’s proven to be quite the fighter. Kirstin has previously talked about holistic treatments Roscoe receives, including high-dose Vitamin C IV drops alongside antibiotics.

Back in May, Hamilton assured his fans that Roscoe had bounced back, albeit with the constant worry that comes with an ageing pet. While Roscoe made a happy appearance at the British Grand Prix, he was notably absent at Monza. The exact health scare Roscoe faced recently remains unclear, but for a bulldog, reaching Roscoe’s age is quite a feat. Hamilton continues to provide a loving home, ensuring Roscoe enjoys a superstar lifestyle. Let’s all keep Roscoe in our thoughts and send positive vibes his way! 🐾❤️
