🚨 **Shocking Incident in Cardiff City Centre!** 🚨
This past Saturday afternoon was anything but ordinary in Cardiff city centre! A white VW van took an unexpected exit from the NCP car park on Quay Street and made a dramatic collision with a building, landing between two popular restaurants. Onlookers were left stunned as the bustling street watched the chaos unfold in broad daylight.
🏗️ **Trail of Destruction:** A cordon quickly went up, blocking off the area around 5pm, and stayed in place until 8pm, ensuring the van could be safely removed. Thankfully, despite the dramatic scene and the vehicle narrowly missing pedestrians by mere inches, there were no reports of serious injuries.
🚒 **Emergency Response:** Our heroes in uniform from both South Wales Police and the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service promptly attended the scene, confirming no major injuries. A single fire crew was dispatched, responding swiftly to prevent any further danger.
👀 **Eyewitness Account:** Observers described the van as veering out of the car park, striking the building next to Casanova’s, with shocked revellers witnessing the close call.
Stay tuned and stay safe, Cardiff!
