🚨 Watch Out for Fake QR Codes in Ceredigion Car Parks! 🚗
Heads up, folks! If you’re parking in Ceredigion, be on the lookout for “fake QR codes” that have been spotted on pay and display machines. These codes are not legit – Ceredigion Council has confirmed they don’t use QR codes for parking payments.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. Similar scams have been reported in Cardiff and Bridgend. So, always double-check how you’re paying for your parking!
The council is on it, though. They’ve informed the police and are working to remove these fake codes. But your vigilance is crucial! If you spot any suspicious QR codes in council car parks, report them immediately.
Stay safe out there, and don’t get caught out by scammers! 🚫📱
