🚨 Drama at Toby Carvery in Brockworth! 🚨
Imagine enjoying a lovely roast, then suddenly, BAM! The ceiling comes crashing down! That’s exactly what happened over the weekend, leaving diners in utter shock and one child in tears, shouting, “What happened?” 😱
Emergency services rushed to the scene, finding debris scattered across the restaurant and a massive hole where part of the ceiling used to be. Firefighters, paramedics, and police were all on hand to ensure everyone’s safety.
A video capturing the chaos has gone viral, viewed over 90,000 times! You can see plates of Sunday roast left untouched as customers fled. One shaken diner shared their experience on Facebook, saying, “Toby Carvery Brockworth ceiling just collapsed on us! Stay away!!”
Comments rolled in with people expressing relief that no one was seriously hurt, especially concerned for the little one who was crying.
This venue on Shurdington Road had undergone a major refurbishment just last year, with £500,000 pumped into it. The restaurant is hopeful to reopen soon, but maybe check for updates before planning your next visit.
What a day for the folks just wanting to enjoy a peaceful meal! 😬 Stay safe out there!
