⚠️ Warning: Rogue Electrician Alert! ⚠️

Wayne Phillips, a man who falsely claimed to be a qualified electrician, has been deemed the “epitome of a rogue trader” by a judge. 🏠⚡ Hitting customers with shoddy and dangerous work, Phillips pocketed thousands for botched jobs ranging from full rewiring to shower installations. His projects were riddled with errors, leaving victims having to pay to make things right. 🙅♂️💸

Operating under the name WJP Electrical, Phillips used the NICEIC logo without being registered, fooling customers into believing in his false credentials. ⚠️ His work on a Swansea property rewiring alone charged over £6,000 but was never completed. One affected father expressed concern over the safety of his daughter due to the dodgy work.
In another instance, a shower was so poorly installed that water leaked onto electrical components, causing financial and emotional strain on the family. 💔 Likewise, another bathroom renovation was such a mess that a customer resorted to showing Phillips a ‘how-to’ video! 📹
Despite denying wrongdoing, Phillips pleaded guilty to six counts under the Fraud Act and narrowly avoided jail time. He received a 20-month suspended sentence and must complete community service.
