🎱 Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Rocket’s Not Ready to Hang His Cue Just Yet! 🚀
Snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan has opened up about his future as he turns towards new ventures, including the launch of a brand-new snooker channel, Pluto 900. Despite nearing 50, Ronnie can’t see himself fully retiring from the sport anytime soon. 🏆
The seven-time world champion has had an illustrious career, recently reaching the Saudi Masters final. But he’s been selective with his appearances, managing his schedule carefully and skipping events like the English and British Opens. While Ronnie hints at slowing down, he insists he’s still got what it takes to compete with the best in the game. 💪
Ronnie candidly shared, “Retirement’s on the mind, but at 49, I’m surprised I’m still here playing. I just need to find things to do!”
The Rocket is juggling “two or three projects” that might not need him playing full-time, including the exciting launch of Pluto Snooker 900. This new channel aims to spotlight emerging talent and will feature legends, live broadcasts, and Ronnie’s exclusive tutorial series. There’s even a whopping £600,000 up for grabs for amateur players over the next year! 📺👏
Looking ahead, Ronnie has high hopes for snooker’s next generation, praising China’s Zhao Xintong as a future world number one. With snooker’s standard among senior players soaring, he’s not the only veteran hitting those impressive shots. But will he know when it’s time to bow out gracefully? Only time will tell! 🤔
The new Pluto Snooker 900 channel is set to brighten our screens with 18 hours of weekly live snooker action and cherished classics starting Monday, October 6. So, snooker fans, keep your cues ready and get ready for an exciting new chapter in the world of snooker! 🎥🏅
