🌟 The Red Roses are on a mission to inspire the future of women’s rugby! 🌹🏉
Fresh off their incredible Rugby World Cup victory, England’s women’s rugby team, the Red Roses, are hitting the road to inspire budding athletes across the UK! This weekend, they’re kicking off RugbyFest—a fabulous nationwide celebration of grassroots rugby aimed at getting more young girls involved in this thrilling sport.
From October 3-6, rugby clubs across the country will host an array of exciting events—think taster sessions, family fun days, and mini festivals. It’s a golden opportunity for girls to try their hand at rugby, supported by the world champions themselves! 🥇✨
Not only is RugbyFest perfect for potential players, but it’s also a chance for communities to rally around the sport as supporters and volunteers. Hundreds of activities have been registered, making this one of the largest grassroots movements in rugby history! 🎉

RugbyFest is a key part of the Impact ’25 initiative, supported by the RFU, National Lottery, and other partners, with over £14.55 million invested to boost women’s and girls’ rugby. Thanks to this support, there’s never been a better time to dive into the game! 🤝
Through the support of The National Lottery, players have been backing women’s rugby for over two decades, raising £6 billion for grassroots sport! So, why not seize this moment to find your passion for rugby and join the celebration? 🏆💪
