Spotted celebs at the Ryder Cup: Donald Trump may have grabbed some headlines, but it was another icon who truly caught the eye of football legend Gianfranco Zola! The former Chelsea star was living his best life as a buggy driver for Team Europe, all thanks to his pal Francesco Molinari. While cruising the stunning Bethpage Black course, Zola found himself near Trump, who’s no stranger to the golf scene. Yet, it was basketball legend Michael Jordan who had Zola feeling like a fan in the stands! The towering presence of MJ in his trademark cap and shades left Zola wishing for a selfie – though he jokingly admitted that standing next to the basketball giant might highlight their height difference a bit too much! Despite the presidential presence, Team Europe had the last laugh, securing victory on US soil for the first time since 2012. Celebrating in style, they sent Trump a cheeky video – led by Rory McIlroy’s camera skills – with chants of “Are you watching?” Winning hearts all around, Trump responded with a congratulatory message. Zola, ever the sport, found the exchange all in good jest, proving that even in competition, there’s room for a good laugh. Legendary encounters, light-hearted fun, and a win for Team Europe – all the ingredients of an unforgettable Ryder Cup! ⛳️🏀🇪🇺🏌️♂️
