๐ง๏ธ**Storm Amy Brings Neath Food Festival to a Halt**๐ฝ๏ธ

We’re gutted to share that the much-loved Neath Food & Drink Festival has been cancelled due to the fierce winds and rain brought on by Storm Amy. ๐ช๏ธโ๏ธ Safety first! Organisers made the tough call to keep everyone safe amidst the unpredictable weather conditions.

Originally set to delight our taste buds this Saturday, October 4th, the festival in Neath town centre had to pull the plug last minute after a successful run on Friday, October 3rd. The heartwarming aroma of sizzling street food and the buzz of cheerful crowds will be missed, but we’re already dreaming of next yearโs return! ๐
Neath Port Talbot Council shared: “After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel due to poor weather and excessive wind. We’re sorry to disappoint our wonderful traders and loyal visitors, and we hope to see you next year!”
With a history dating back to 2009 and drawing over 20,000 visitors daily, the festival is truly a staple in Wales. We’ll miss the flavours from near and far, and the lively atmosphere that’s become a cherished part of Neath’s calendar.
Stay safe and dry everyone, and mark your calendars for next year! ๐
