🚨 Save Carway Primary School! 🚨

A wave of support is flooding in for Carway Community Primary School, tucked between Pontyates and Trimsaran, as it faces closure due to safety worries. Imagine being a parent and finding out just before the school term starts that your child’s school is suddenly off-limits! That’s exactly what happened to anxious parents like Claire Warren, who have been left without answers for weeks.

Claire’s daughter, Charlotte, who has autism and ADHD, is now having to attend Gwynfryn School, some distance away. “It’s not our school of choice,” Claire expresses, voicing the frustration many parents feel. To top it all, no one knows if Carway Community Primary will reopen.
Determined to fight back, Claire has launched a petition that already boasts 700 signatures! But that’s not all—she’s also calling for a public meeting to press for information on the school’s fate. Claire insists, “If it was their child, I think they would want to know.”
The situation is further compounded by safety concerns as children gather near Carway Hall, where breakfast and after-school clubs are temporarily hosted. Despite a structural survey revealing issues with one of the school buildings, the need for transparency remains critical.
Local council officers assure they are working closely with the school’s governing body and promise to keep parents informed. However, the uncertainty is taking a toll on families.
Join the movement to save Carway Primary School! Share your thoughts and support the parents demanding clarity and action for a safe and stable learning environment for their children. 🌍❤️
