🚧🚗 Heads up, drivers! Expect some M4 chaos this weekend. 🚗🚧

If you’re hitting the road in Wales, prepare for a few bumps along the way. The M4 is seeing closures and roadworks, plus folks are flocking to Cardiff for the big half marathon on Sunday, 5th October. Oh, and Storm Amy might crash the party, so keep an eye on that weather!
🔴 Key disruptions on the M4 to watch for:

– **Junction 33 Capel Llanilltern**: Onslip closed for environmental work. Diversions are set from 8pm Sunday till 6am Monday.

– **Junction 23A Magor**: Electrical work means road closures in both directions. This started 8pm Friday and wraps up by 6am Monday.
– **Neath Port Talbot (Jct 34-42)**: Eastbound closures will end 6am Saturday after ongoing work.
– **Bridgend (Jct 37-38)**: Both directions affected by roadworks until 30th Nov. Plus, lane closures for inspections at Jct 37 westbound, ending 6am Saturday.
– **Junction 39 Groes’**: Westbound onslip shut from 8pm Friday till 6am Monday.
– **Newport (Jct 24-26)**: Westbound closure due to roadworks continues up until 10th October.
🚧 Don’t forget the Severn Bridge (M48) has a weight limit for lorries due to maintenance, in effect until May 2026.
It might be tricky out there with the wet and windy conditions, so stay safe and drive carefully! 🌧️ For all updates, keep your eyes on the road and your ears tuned in.🚦
Safe travels, everyone! 🚙💨
