🎸 Exciting times in the UK music scene – The Rogues, an indie-rock band from Newport, have skyrocketed to No.3 on the Official UK Physical Singles Charts, surpassing pop giants Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter!
Their standout track, ‘1963,’ from their debut EP ‘1963 – Live at Rockfield Studios,’ is the breakthrough hit that’s captured the nation’s attention. 🎶 Frontman Andrew Flannelly shared, “I was floored when I saw our name alongside such big stars. It’s surreal!”
Formed during lockdown, this talented group has played over 100 gigs and recorded their EP at the legendary Rockfield Studios with producer Nick Brine, known for working with Oasis and The Stone Roses. Now signed to Flipflop Records, they’re set on putting Newport on the map.
Catch The Rogues live at Cardiff’s Students Union on 17th October. Whether you’ve seen them light up the stage at Isle of Wight Festival or with iconic acts like Dodgy and Cardinal Black, this band is one to watch. With plans for a UK & Ireland tour and a new single ‘Oh Gena’ dropping soon, they’re just getting started.
