🚧 Heads up, M4 travellers! 🚧
If you’re hitting the road this week, be prepared for some detours and delays on the M4. Here’s what you need to know:
🔄 Starting with junction 33 at Capel Llanilltern, the eastbound onslip is closed for environmental works. Expect this until Monday morning.
🔌 Near junction 23A in Magor, both directions are closed due to electrical works. Diversions are up and running, so keep an eye out for them.
🚧 In the Bridgend area, it’s double trouble with two lanes shut in both directions between J37 (Pyle/Porthcawl) and J38 (Margam) due to roadworks, running until the end of November.
🔄 Heading westbound? Junction 39’s Groes’ onslip will be closed overnight until Monday. Plan your route accordingly!
🚙 Newport travellers, from junction 24 Coldra to junction 26 Malpas, there’s a westbound closure that’s been ongoing since September but wraps up this Friday. Relief is near!
⚖️ For those using the M48 Severn Bridge, a temporary weight limit is in play for lorries only, due to maintenance. Buses and coaches can travel as usual.
