With the help of generous contractors like Pitch Roofer, Trueline Roofing, Cartwright Roofing, and others, the team has already saved the centre £86,000! They offered materials and their labour for free, turning what seemed like a hopeless situation into a beacon of community unity.

Facilities Manager Gary Walton expressed his gratitude, saying, “We’ve been overwhelmed with support. Our ‘DIY SOS – Save Our Strays’ has been a huge success so far, and it’s all thanks to the amazing people around us.”

Despite the workload still ahead, the spirit and dedication of these contractors shine through as they aim to make Hope Rescue fully watertight. The project has only demanded a £14,000 investment from the charity, which was covered thanks to public donations.

Thanks to everyone’s hard work and kindness, Hope Rescue can now focus on what it does best – caring for our four-legged friends! Huge shout-out to all the incredible contractors and supporters who’ve turned this potential disaster into a story of hope.

It’s proof that when the community comes together, amazing things can happen. 🐾❤️
