🏴 Game face on! Wales coach Craig Bellamy has made it crystal clear that the team isn’t in London for a holiday! As they gear up to face England at Wembley, Bellamy insists the team is ready to put on a show and break the 1977 jinx. With a crucial World Cup qualifier against Belgium looming just around the corner, Bellamy is balancing his squad choices carefully. “We’re here to play our brand of football and be the best version of ourselves,” he says, promising an exciting display regardless of the lineup.
Despite a few bumps with injuries, the squad is adapting. With Daniel James and Aaron Ramsey out, Cardiff City’s Rubin Colwill and Isaak Davies are stepping up. Bellamy is thrilled with their inclusion, highlighting their energy and potential impact. “It’s always tough to lose key players, but Rubin and Isaak bring a lot to the table,” says the coach.
England’s coach, Thomas Tuchel, might be catching some flak for struggles against defensive plays, but Bellamy isn’t taking that route. “Defending deep against England is like a slow death,” he remarked, emphasising an assertive approach instead.
